Data PartMatch receives
PartMatch receives only the fields necessary for a compatibility or purchase-path request: an appliance model number, optionally an appliance brand, a replacement-part number when you ask about a specific part, and a country code for the US-only Amazon purchase pilot. PartMatch does not accept payment or shipping details. It does not require an account or request a name, email address, precise location, password, government identifier, health information, or full conversation history.
How lookup data is used
These identifiers are used to check the requested appliance or part against PartMatch's verified compatibility dataset and return a result. PartMatch does not use the submitted identifiers for behavioral advertising, profiling, or sale of personal data.
Application data retention
The PartMatch application does not store lookup identifiers in an application database or application log and does not retain them after a request completes. Its backend is hosted on Vercel, which may process infrastructure metadata (such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, request path, performance information and errors) for security and service operation. The provider's retention periods depend on its hosting plan and logging configuration. PartMatch does not separately extend that infrastructure-log retention.
Softflow.cz website visits
These PartMatch information pages are hosted separately on Softflow.cz. As with ordinary web hosting, the hosting provider may process connection and access-log information needed to serve and secure the pages. No sign-in or tracking form is required to read these pages. External links lead to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices.
Other providers and external links
Vercel processes backend requests as PartMatch's hosting provider. Source references link to external manufacturer or parts-information pages, but the app does not send your filter lookup to those source publishers while answering. PartMatch does not send appliance models, brands or conversation text to Amazon when preparing a purchase page.
Amazon affiliate purchases
If you explicitly request a purchase path for an eligible source-verified filter, PartMatch may provide a PartMatch-owned page containing a clearly disclosed Amazon.com Associates link. PartMatch may earn commissions from qualifying purchases. The affiliate link does not include your appliance model or conversation text. Amazon receives information under its own policies only if you choose to open its site.
Your choices and contact
You can minimize submitted information by entering only appliance and part identifiers, stop using the plugin, or contact us with privacy questions at hello@softflow.cz. Please do not send passwords, payment details, government identifiers or other sensitive personal information. Applicable data-protection rights may be exercised by contacting the operator at that address.
